The assembly instructions are okay... up until the last point, where you're instructed to press the top of the rack down "gently" onto the screws and somehow magically lock the top into place. You cannot do this. However, if you ignore the instructions that tell you to assemble the top first, you can put this together. What you do is, put the vertical legs on (don't forget the slidable cross-bar), then screw the curved head pieces on top of each leg. Tighten up the base. Then simply pop the three long bars that go across the top into their respective holes of the curved head pieces. Also, pay very close attention to the each end of the short screws that go into the legs. It makes a difference which end you screw in because if you do it wrong, the screw sticking into the head will be too long and it will interfere with your ability to attach the decorative knobs.We probably failed to read the description carefully enough, but the rack is only about 30 inches tall. That is too short for a regular towel, unless you put the rack on a stand of some kind. We plan to return it.If this towel rack were a few inches taller it would be great. It's sturdy and doesn't wobble. However, if you have big towels, they will graze the floor.Following the instructions didn't produce a stable towel stand. Calling tech support and spending 3 days with them didn't result in anything better. Essentially, the instructions require the top of the towel rack be firmly pressed down onto the two vertical bars that have threaded screws. There is no way to screw the top to these bars. How one is suppose to firmly press threaded screws into threaded holes defies imagination. Since the screws are less than 1/4 inches in length, stability becomes highly questionable even if you did as instructed. I would rate this product a "0" if that were available. Thank goodness for Amazon return policy.My advice: don't even look at it; don't even think about it; and, absolutely don't buy it.Very attractive and sturdy. Would highly recommend this product. ORB finish very nice also. Love that I can move it around too. Over heat registers to help dry or warm the towels. Got the matching soap holder for my bathtub too.Very satisfied with this purchase. I was afraid it might be flimsy but it is nice and sturdy. Very good looking and easy to assemble. I would recommend it.Too low to the ground so the towels just drag on the groundThis towel rack is sturdy, attractive, and easy to assemble.
